Hello George (and anyone else reading):

I am sitting at the dining room table with Colleen after having spent a very late and decadent evening at THE fashionable place to eat dinner in Amsterdam last night. Colleen and Jaap know the man who books the acts for the restaurant so we sat at the "important" end of the room and got very lavish service. The restaurant is called The Supper Club. The room is set in a circular fashion with two levels. Long "beds" line the sides of the room with a loft-like equivalent above. There are a few tables in the center of the room but mostly people lounge with their shoes off, lying on pillows eating, drinking ans smoking the night away. Food is served as either veggie or non-veggie and comes out in courses throughout the night. IN between, a chanteuse changes outfits and sings songs for the crowd. Here is where Madonna, Brittany Spears, LL Cool J and Val Kilmer spend their evenings sitting around looking at everyone who is looking at them. Throughout, a DJ spins tunes and we all feel as though we are in a bubble warped in time.

I am home tomorrow after an amazing week away...that's if the planes take off.
