Hello all,

I hope everyone is doing well. George asked me to finally put some info about my new job on the Blog. Well, here goes. I am working at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago. I assist the Executive Director, work in the Public Education Program and manage the bookstore. It may all change on Tuesday, however, because the Board of Directors are meeting to discuss whether the Institute will split into two organizations. There is a faction of Jungian analysts who don't like where the Institute is headed and either want to take over completely (which means they may not want us "lay people" around) or they will split off and head downtown, leaving the rest of us to form a new Institute focused on public education. It's become rather cantankerous (sp.?) but we still have fun everyday at work. I love the people I work with - we spend a lot of time laughing. It could also be very interesting if those of us left are part of developing the new non-profit for the public education arm. We'll know in a few days. Until then, I have been terribly sick - bad fever, chills, sweating, etc., etc. Hopefully I'll get some relief from this sickness soon. Hope all of you are well...would be nice to hear from some of you. George seems lonely on this blog...let's help him out!
